Math Club is a chance to work on challenging math problems in a few formats (solo, timed, as a group). The problems we work on are drawn from MathCounts and other math contests and are designed to be tricky. Students should be curious about math, comfortable with numbers, and open to not being able to solve a problem. Familiarity and comfort with middle school math concepts will help. We participate in at least one (optional) local tournament each year. We meet online (Google Meet) for about an hour each week.
