SHG parents and children meet every Wednesday 2–4pm at the playground in St. Edward State Park in Kenmore. The playground has a large maze-like wooden structure for the bigs and a contained play area for the littles. Kids often play tag or soccer in the adjacent field. Many picnic tables allow several families to snack at a distance.

Mask-wearing is not required, but is appreciated by members of our community with family members who are immunocompromised or who cannot be vaccinated.

Parking at St. Ed’s requires a permit ($11.50 for a day pass or $35 for an annual Discover Pass). If parking costs are a barrier, please email Sara for alternatives.

ANNOUNCEMENT: North End Park Day will rotate locations this summer! Starting June 22nd, park day will be in a different North End location every week. (Park recommendations welcome!) The time — Wednesday 2–4pm — will remain the same, with the possible exception of weeks in which we have a joint park day with another SHG group.
